Team Leader, Media 1st shift Mon-Fri
**Description** The basic purpose of this role is to perform support/process duties associated with the continuous manufacture of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines. The incumbent will perform and coordinate with other groups and supervise the activities associated with the preparation of active ingredient vaccine component (cells and medias) requirements.As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of our products to our patients and customers. Our competitive compensation and benefit programs reflect Boehringer Ingelheim's high regard for our employees. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Prepares daily/weekly production schedule. + Oversees and ensures training and qualification of team members. + Reviews in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner. + Maintains technical data and support documentation. + Initiates and facilitates root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems. + Escalates production flow disturbances. + Demonstrates a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives. + Assesses individual and team performance regarding the continuous improvement. + Participates and provides support to site projects and initiatives. **Requirements** + High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum two to three (2-3) years in related field.
