Job DescriptionCase Management: The Team Leader consistently plans for patient care needs by reviewing appropriate of scheduled cases and availability of supplies/equipment and staff.Clinical Expertise: Demonstrates competence and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and care of select patients within the perioperative setting. Regularly acts as a role model to nursing staff by demonstrating clinical and theoretical expertise, critical thinking and innovation in assigned OR specialty practice.Educational and Professional Development: The Team Leader participates in the development of unit/ hospital-base boards of practice; mentors others in this development.Leadership: The Team Leader exemplifies patient advocacy with physicians, staff, family and community. Proactively resolves issues and fosters this behavior in other staff members.Performance Improvement: The Team Leader monitors and measures performance/practice to identify opportunities for improvement. Initiates action to correct immediate deficiencies and plans/initiates process improvement activities as indicated.Company Description

QualificationsCurrent RN license in the state of Maryland (Required)Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
