About the role: Key role of Transport Team Lead is to plan, direct and monitor transport and distribution activities so that goods and materials are transported safely and cost-effectively and that they arrive at their destination on time and in good condition. Key Responsibilities: + Manage the day-to-day activities of a team of transport planners who perform a variety of activities associated with moving goods (both solid and liquid) from factories or distribution centers to 3th party customers; + Responsible for overseeing intercompany flows with special focus on optimized truck load; + Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external transport suppliers to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service; + Leading process of Carrier Performance; + Own process of OTIF in area of Transport activities - preparing OTIF analysis for transport hits, RCAs and counter measures for improvement; + Co-create new standards for center of logistics excellence by building, leading and developing a high performing team of transport planners; + Support Logistics Tower lead in implementation of SCD strategy within GBS; + CI mindset and approach to constantly improve efficiency of logistics processes, monitor the cost and effectiveness of transport and distribution activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, timeliness, reliability, and safety and food safety standards; + Responsible for cost management: managing transport budget, providing accruals, monitoring levels of extra costs, leading productivity initiatives; + Actively support of tender preparations, being gate keeper for tender contracts and minimizing spot price transports to minimum. About You: + College Degree or equivalent and 5 years of related experience; + Computer skills including SAP knowledge, Word, Excel, Windows Environment and Google; + Communication with a team and external teams in the network; + Leadership and ability to learn cross functionally with other departments; + Inclusive attitude; + Strong Leadership experience.
