What You'll Do:Attend monthly safety meetings and demonstrate a proactive approach to safety awareness and compliance.Complete all required safety and compliance learning modules on a timely basis and complete medical testing in a timely manner.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including 5S activities.Safely operate a fleet vehicle ranging in size from a cargo van to a 26,000 pound truck.Identify safety concerns and correct them when necessary.Lift and carry up to 65 pounds using appropriate processes and safety procedures.Lead and conduct training on Hill-Rom portfolio products and services at service center, territory, and area levels.Perform complex repairs on medical products beyond simple and minor cosmetic repairs or component replacements.Apply manufacturer service manuals and documentation to provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause, and repair.Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contracts.Perform routine cleaning and maintenance procedures on various medical products, including pre-installation maintenance, and modification procedures.Visually, audibly, and manually inspect Hill-Rom products for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic problems requiring adjustment or repair.Monitor the readings of electronic meters and gauges.Perform sweeping, mopping, and all other general "housekeeping" duties.Coordinate daily work assignments, oversee and engage in field and warehouse activities, and manage accurate on-site inventory.

In addition to the responsibilities above, the Team Leader will at times be required to complete tasks and responsibilities outlined in the Field Service Technician I & II job descriptions as the needs of the business require. This job is a leadership role which will oversee work distribution to all Service Center employees. The Team Leader does not make hiring decisions, promote/demote employees and does not discipline employees.

What You'll Bring:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience requiredSME on multiple platforms within the Hill-Rom portfolio requiredApplicable technical or trade school training preferred8+ years working with medical devices/FDA regulated products in a hands-on environment required2+ years driving/delivery experience requiredAbility to lead, direct and coordinate technical service projects, positively impacting customer satisfactionAdapts to new technologies and comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of productsValid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards and state requirementsAbility to acquire and maintain a DOT physical card requiredSchedule flexibility/on-callPhysical requirements:

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base hourly/salary range of $60,000 to $90,000. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/ experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/ office location.
