Our Crick (NN6 7ED) site are now recruiting for a Team Leader on a full time basis.

Shift: Any 5 in 7 Days.

Salary: £28,000 per annum. 

Job Description

To manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, and in accordance with QA and safety standards.

To effectively motivate a team of people to meet production targetsEnsure the final product meets client specifications (SPI)To effectively maximise production efficiency to ensure plan is met on an hourly/daily basisEffectively use the onsite IT and Warehouse Management SystemsTo adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulationsTo ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company proceduresTo ensure that all areas comply with hygienic audits, both internal and externalTo ensure GMP (good manufacturing practices) and housekeeping (clean as you go) are strictly adhered toTo attend Line Leader meetingsTo assist in the training and development of new startersTo act as a role model for best practiceMonitor, control and minimise wastePlay an active part in continuous improvement

QualificationsThe ability to consistently reach and exceed targets on several lines throughout the Copack OperationThe ability to communicate effectively to the Production Controller issues relating to the taskThe ability to work unsupervised and effectively motivate a team.
