Overview We're rapidly growing our team and searching for an experienced Team Leader to join our customer-focused professionals in our Brierley Hill Office. This outstanding opportunity will empower you to actively nurture and guide our team of Commercial Account Handlers. You will be leading your team to provide support to our existing clients, while ensuring the customer remains our priority. How you'll make an impact In the first few weeks, you'll join our training academy. We'll provide you with all the necessary training to excel in your new career at Gallagher. You'll lead a team of Commercial Account Handlers, supporting them in assisting small to medium-sized businesses in finding insurance policies and achieving outstanding outcomes. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll: Manage a team of up to Commercial Account Handlers, who advise and sell insurance to small business owners over the phone Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings to offer guidance, feedback, and support Utilise data to ensure accurate performance management is carried out and relayed back to the individuals in the team through progression review meetings Hit financial targets, ensuring the team sticks to the budget lines Conduct team audits to ensure the team pays close attention to detail Empower the team with knowledge of the products and policies Balance multiple tasks simultaneously, utilising a range of systems and working in a nurturing, friendly, and agile team About You About You Previous experience as a team leader or in the insurance sector is preferred, but not required. Evident skills and experience within Commercial Broking (minimum four years’ experience) Desired Cert CII qualified, having worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA’s Ability to display a motivated and goal-oriented attitude An approachable and open-minded management style Excellent communication skills and the genuine ability to listen, coach, mentor, and support team members Strong skills in utilising company data Previous experience mentoring and providing support to a team in the commercial insurance industry. We also welcome applications from candidates with Account Handling/Executive experience in the commercial insurance sector who are eager to transition into a leadership position.
