You will join our Mobility MEP team in the Arcadis Iasi office. In this department, we are focusing our attention on a few domains:

MEP design and installations of mobility projects and infrastructure. 3D Modeling. High voltage substations (primary, secondary and 3D modeling), grounding installations and EMC. Medium Voltage substations and cable network; Low Voltage installations;

The job purpose is to design different types of MEP installations (Mechanical, electrical, PHE and Fire Engineering).

As a Team leader for the MEP Team, you will be at the heart of all our MEP projects, focused on the Netherlands region, but not limited. This role will require a hands-on approach, as you will be overseeing and directing the MEP team's performance, ensuring top-quality service and adherence to all safety regulations. You will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and executing various MEP & HV projects, keeping in mind their successful completion within the desired timeline and budget.

Role accountabilities:

Leadership & Management: Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the MEP team, ensuring project goals are met on time and within budget.

Project Planning & Execution: Contribute to planning and design, ensuring efficient execution of all projects.

Quality Assurance: Ensure the team adheres to the highest quality standards, safety regulations, and current legislation.

Team Development: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to develop their skills and enhance team performance.

Communication & Collaboration: Act as a point of contact for the MEP team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with other team leaders, stakeholders, and clients, reporting on the progress and challenges of the projects.

Continuous Improvement: Assess and review team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to maximize efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

At least Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineer, Energetics, Mechanical or building services); Good knowledge of Building services design, electrical HV and/or MV design; Experience in Mechanical, electrical and Plumbing services along with HV and MV electrical systems. Experience in 3D Modeling and other design software; You need to easily interpret schematics of existing installations, current standards, suppliers’ specifications and scope documents as base of the engineering; A strong affinity for electrical engineering & Building services engineering and willing to continue to build technical expertise; Minimum 5 years of experience in the domain; Good English language skills; Good knowledge of Autocad; Accuracy and details focus; Technical and quality focus; Ability to coordinate multiple people; Good time management skills.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of specialized software (REVIT, ETAP/AMETECH, EPLAN, Intelec, Xandra, HAP , Building designer etc.); ANRE certificate IIIA or IVA; Knowledge of Dutch would be considered a significant plus, given the focus on the Netherlands market.
