Location: Columbia, Missouri area

Department: Assertive Community Treatment – Transitional Age Youth (ACT-TAY)

Employment Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our Assertive Community Treatment – Transitional Age Youth (ACT-TAY) program.

ACT-TAY is an evidence-based, specialized service designed to engage young adults (ages 16 to 25 years old) who have not been successful with traditional treatment approaches. As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multi-disciplinary team to provide intensive treatment services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day clinical operations of the ACT-TAY team, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.Provide treatment direction to clients on the ACT-TAY caseload, guiding them towards recovery and improved mental health.Conduct regular individual supervisory sessions for staff, offering guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.Assist with the hiring and training of new staff, ensuring a cohesive and skilled team.Provide direct care to clients as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, nurses, and other specialists.Analyze client situations and develop intervention strategies tailored to each individual's needs.Participate in crisis intervention during regular business hours and be available on an on-call basis after hours or on weekends (on-call pay included).Contribute to state-wide phone calls and team meetings to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or CounselingSupervisory experience preferred, but not requiredPLPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW is preferred, but not required
