Compensation

The compensation target range for this role is:

$58,000 - $61,000

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Team Leader (Contact Center) leads and manages a team of Inside Sales Representatives. This may include hiring, motivating, recognizing, and rewarding, coaching, counseling, training, and problem solving. The position has a shared responsibility with the entire leadership team to ensure monthly sales targets are achieved for the team and individual Sales Representatives.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

Responsibility over meeting or exceeding sales targets established for the team.  

Works with individual team members to ensure sales quotas are met on a regular basis. 

Provides daily coaching, direction, and communication to team. 

Handles escalated customer concerns as needed. 

During periods of high contact volume, assists with sales. 

Analyzes KPIs and provides statistical and performance feedback and coaching on a daily/weekly basis to each team member. 

Coordinates with sales leadership and HR to address disciplinary and/or performance issues. 

Effectively administers improvement/development plans. 

Assists the senior leadership team with the daily operation of the contact center (including the development, analysis and implementation of staffing, training, scheduling, and reward/recognition programs). 

Works as a member/leader of special or ongoing projects (as needed). 

Establishes work procedures and processes that support the company and department standards, procedures, and strategic directives. 

 

Required Skills, Education, Experience: 

High School Diploma or equivalent required.  

3+ years sales leadership experience, preferably in an Inside Sales or Contact Center environment. 

Leadership experiencing managing 10 or more employees. 

Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to read, analyze and interpret documents; ability to respond effectively to all inquiries; ability to write using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling; ability to effectively present information in meetings. 

Computer Skills: High computer literacy.  Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, Sales CRM’s, etc… 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

Ability to work independently on projects and as a member of a team. 

Ability to multi-task and organize and prioritize workload. 

Ability to lead, motivate, and gain “followership.” 

Consistent attendance overseeing assigned work shifts.  

Available to work nights/weekends/holidays as business need dictate.

Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.  

Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.

Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.
