To stimulate its further growth, Willis Towers Watson Belgium is looking for a talented Team Leader Fleet (m/f) for its CRB (Corporate Risk & Broking) activities.

Reporting to the Head of Operations.
 

What will your job entail?

As a Team leader Fleet within our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing and coaching the Fleet department. You will be setting goals for the team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive environment.

There is a close collaboration with the other Teams in Operations as well as with the Broking and the Sales Team. You will lead cross-functional projects and ensure effective communication between departments.

Your key responsibilities involve:

Development, mentorship, and team management: Focus on the continuous development of all team members, ensuring they maintain and improve their knowledge and relationships with insurers, insureds, and other stakeholders. Support junior staff, share knowledge, and provide mentorship to encourage professional growth. Ensure team members are in the right roles, offering career development opportunities, permanent education, and succession planning while fostering a positive team culture; Client service, relationship management, and compliance: Provide day-to-day excellent client service, ensuring rigorous follow-up of files, building strong client relationships, and supporting client development, retention, and visits. Maintain relations with key contacts within insurance companies. Take responsibility for embedding compliance requirements in daily processes and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures; Technical expertise, operational efficiency, and innovation: Continuously develop and maintain technical knowledge, with a multi-branch view on markets, wordings, rating levels, and claims issues. Drive continuous improvement and innovation by introducing changes to structure and processes to enhance operational and financial efficiency, and implement new strategies; People and performance management: Manage performance across three offices in Belgium, ensuring team cohesion and high performance. Work with internal departments to create a collaborative environment, delivering a compelling client experience.

 

The requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent people management skills, who is both analytical and organised, as well as creative and comfortable working independently.

The successful applicant will have/be:

At least a Bachelor’s degree and preferably 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry – experience in people management/change management is a plus.You have an open mind towards change and see the possibility of working temporarily in our other offices in Liège and Hasselt as an opportunity. You are an excellent negotiator, proactive, and eager to satisfy the client.Strong relationship-building skills with a dedication to quality and customer service. Enthusiastic, perseverant, and driven to succeed.Attention to detail and quality, with a 'right first time' mentality. Entrepreneurial skills to develop innovation and ideas.Native in Dutch, with a very good knowledge of French and English (both written and spoken).
