The Forecasting TL is responsible for leading a team of FA's to drive strategic and tactical volume forecasts and analysis to enable assigned departments to meet or exceed performance standards. The critical responsibilities of a Forecasting TL
Summarize and interpret individual results (workload demand and performance historical trends ) that build a Service Division overview to develop models for forecasting future contact volumes and staffing.Oversee the creation and maintenance of department strategic staffing models (including headcount recommendations and service level projections) for Senior Leaders to make decisions on divisional staffing.Consult with Service Division Department Leaders and Directors for upcoming events and recommend strategic staffing levels needed to meet performance level targets.Collaborate with the team to conduct adhoc analysis on how variable changes impact performance.Meet and brief Senior Leader with data on staffing and performanceDevelop and enhance existing Work Planning processes in alignment with the Division objectives while balancing the Associate and Branch experience.Participate and contribute in projects driving the implementation of new processes and tools for improving call center workload efficiency.Proactively identify new contact center tools and WFM software to enhance and support the strategic forecasting goals.Responsible to guild and develop the team and division to strengthen the teams business acumen for growth and expansion.Partner with the various area's within the Division and Firm to ensure alignment in strategic efforts.Qualifications Required in the Job:
Education/CertificationBachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or other technical field or equivalent experience is required.Previous leadership and or Project/Management experience
ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of significant contact center and/or Edward Jones functional experience required. Minimum of 3 years of previous workforce management or statistical forecasting / analysis experience required.
Skills and Abilities:Strong mathematical, analytical, and organization skillsHighly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and/or Access and related systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to influence, process and assess quantitative and qualitative data to make rapid decisions and present to Sr. LeadershipAbility to lead and partner with the various leaders within the Service Division and other areas within the firm. Must be able to lead, prioritize projects, and work well with deadlines in a matrixed environmentAbility to lead in the implementation of tactical initatives and drive strategic efforts as wellCandidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO home office location are expected to work within the office three days per week, with the preference for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
