Become a **maker of possible** with us. **Managing Employees:** + Represent management, communicate Values, Quality and Safety policies, Strategic Initiatives, plant goals, policies and information updates. + Develop high performing teams to meet key metrics, which include quality, efficiency, and safety. + Performance evaluation and management (including annual performance reviews, performance improvement plans, disciplinary process.). + Handle all day-today employee relations issues with support from AccessHR COE when needed. + Create and manage work schedules. + Manage eTime, IBM Web Pages, Vacation, PTO and Overtime. + Hiring and Onboarding (Interviewing and Departmental New Hire Orientation). + Ensure compliance with on-going training requirements for self and team. + Serve as a Mentor/Key Resource for Team Leader Trainees. **Operations:** + Manage product through entire manufacturing process utilizing the Management Operating System to drive Continuous Improvement. + Ensure a safe work environment (reinforce safety culture, Hazcom, incident investigation and follow up, ensure stretching and job rotation, support ergonomic initiatives, etc.). + Quality (Ensure compliance throughout the manufacturing process, new associates are properly trained, etc.). + Manage all regular and temporary headcount requirements. + Support and execute new product introductions, transfers & Cost Improvement Programs. + Coordinate internal quality review board (MRB) to find root cause and develop solutions if quality issues are discovered. + Develop and meet department budget requirements. Ensure accuracy of supporting documentation (i.e., standards, routings and spending history). + Approve all standard changes to bill of materials and routings made by Engineers, Production Clerks, etc. + Management in conjunction with Planners, of shop floor inventory. + Other duties as assigned. **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business, or + Minimum of 3 years manufacturing supervisory experience, with demonstrated performance results. **Knowledge and Skills:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, for at least 10 direct reports. + Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to coach/mentor others. + Experience in successfully driving production of quality products in a way that meets business goals and operations metrics. + Demonstrated understanding of the business and financial budget for ones’ area. + Solid communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to deal with and manage change. + JDE/ERP experience. **Physical Demands:** + Occasionally requires light physical effort as in periods of prolonged standing, sitting at files or work tables or bending, stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of light items (i.e., up to 30 lbs.). May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes. **Work Environment: (if applicable)** + Primarily placed on the manufacturing floor. May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes, requiring some precaution. Some minor inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work situation (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.).
