TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
In order to drive efficient back-office operations, TE Connectivity wants to establish insourced regional shared service centers (*) to support centralized processing of selected procurement functions such as PR/PO processing, compliance checks, supplier set-up/change requests, procurement helpdesk, invoice price issues resolutions, etc.
The Procurement Team Leader will ensure smooth transition is organized and managed from the Outsourced Team to the to-be-hired TE team members. He/she will also take part in the selection process of resources required for the set-up of the future TE team in Krakow, Poland.
This position will report to the PSC Global Process Owner and lead a Regional PSC team in the planning, management and delivery of in scope procurement processes.

Your main tasks:Key attributes of this role include:

• Experience working for a Manufacturing company,
• Deep understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and associated technology platforms,

• Well-developed management and leadership skills,
• Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel and matrix structure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate and drive knowledge transfer activities for the region in-scope during Transition,
• Manage Procurement teams. Ensure quality and efficiency of work produced. Hold regular meetings, coach and mentor team, recognize key employees,
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement related topics,
• Support migration of Indirect Procurement processes from centralized EMEIA (also referred to as EMIA) locations to Krakow,
• Ensure proper processing of PR/PO’s. Maintain communication with vendors and stakeholders,
• Ensure compliance with audit, tax and other requirements of the local markets or the TE company,
• Coordinate all procurement activities and reporting in-scope,
• Coordinate with local BU owners, Function representatives or other Procurement team members to identify and address any unresolved issues in a timely manner,
• Develop and maintain scorecards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to manage the performance of the department as per Global Governance Model,
• Innovate through process optimization and automation,
• Appropriately manage and escalate issues,
• Perform regular performance evaluations of staff members,
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within the function, ensuring that improvements are incorporated in the work routine. Form strong collaborative relationship with Global Process Owners,
• Ensure robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes,
• Ensure fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), continuously improving on performance benchmarks,
• Proactively monitor and operate a robust internal control environment,
• Build strong relationship with key stakeholders,
• Coordinate team meetings and ensure constant optimum communication within the team
• Travel to designed locations for Transition period.
• Strong SME Experience in Indirect Procurement (7+ years)
• Previous team leader or team management experience in shared service environment
• International exposure
• Proficient in MS office; advanced Excel, Power point and other relevant tools for the function
• SAP PR2, S/4
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good English language skills in speech and writing + command of other languages
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing industry experience preferred
