Team Leader Logistics

Join Ecolab as a Team Lead Logistics. As a leader in the organization, fostering a continuous service improvement culture, the objective is to provide best in class FP&A to position Ecolab as a shipper of choice. The successful candidate for this role will be a dynamic, self-directed leader capable of developing collaborative relationships focused on ensuring positive outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

· Effectively lead a team of 3+ analysts who are accountable for the ongoing FP&A performance cycle of over 50 freight carriers.

· Develop carrier partnerships and strategy to ensure 98% on-time payment of freight vendors.

· Foster collaborative, management level, carrier relationships to drive mutually beneficial initiatives focused on process improvements and quick resolution of issues.

· Partner with business and transportation to provide creative solutions to new requirements.

· Facilitate FP&A program deployment to various transportation providers.

· Identify and isolate repetitive time-consuming tasks that are good candidates for partial or full automation, work with offshore team to automate mundane tactical and day to day tasks.

· Ability to reprioritize and focus on key initiatives and deliverables.

· Cultivate staffing plan and promote ongoing employee development and career progression.

· Manage workload across the team acting as the first level escalation point and drive results.

· Support monthly discussions with carriers to highlight key freight payment opportunities.

· Additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration

· 4+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, freight payment or accounts payable, or another shared services function

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

· 1+ years prior TMS and ERP experience

· 1+ years of previous supervisory experience

· SAP experience

· Advanced analytical skills working with large data sets

· Experience in TPM, Lean, 6 Sigma, 5S and overall project management

Position Details:

· Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. (GMT-3)

· Candidate must reside in Buenos Aires.
