Due to forecast growth within our Saint-Gobain Off-Site Solutions Brands, we currently have a new vacancy for a Team Leader for the AM shift at our Pasquill site at Stoney Stanton. Reporting into the Production Supervisor, this role is responsible for planning and organizing customer orders to ensure high levels of production, whilst driving high standards of health and safety.

Pasquill are part of Saint Gobain and are the largest supplier of trussed rafters in the UK, with a nationwide network of design and manufacturing sites, supported by local knowledge and service.

 

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

 

Ensure Operatives are actively employed in appropriate tasks to ensure maximum output. Ensure a safe and efficient operation, taking into account customers’ requirements and performance targets. Plan and organize customer orders, ensuring maximum use of all resources. Monitor production machinery for service and repair requirements. Continuously look for ways to improve productivity, sharing best practice and learning from other sites Stand in for the Production Supervisor during holidays and absence.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

 

Excellent communication skills Ability to organize workload and work to deadlines. Ability to work from detailed technical drawings. A sound knowledge of the whole production process A positive attitude and flexible approach Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation Previous experience of supervising a team would be beneficial but not essential.
