You'll have…

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical, electrical automation or related fields.
• 3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance management.
• PLC programming knowledge and experience.
• Clear logic, strong work reporting ability, upward communication and downward management skills.
• Excellent expression, communication, and leadership skills, and be able to work under strong pressure.

Even better, you may have...
• 10 or more years’ experience in equipment maintenance.
• 5 or more years, and experience in equipment maintenance management.
• Six-Sigma Certification.
• Experience in lithium battery equipment.

Ability to travel extensively, including internationally.

This position is a leadership level 6.


This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall, MI, with expectation to be on-Site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

Once your employment with Ford commences, you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work for BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC, a Ford wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall, Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.

• Responsible for continuous improvement plans and implementation.
• Understand and lead all standard manufacturing maintenance systems.
• Execute production equipment maintenance to ensure production equipment reliability meets capacity targets.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance operating system
• Participate in the production and evaluation of new equipment standards and specifications.
• Support safety, quality, technology and production improvement efforts by formulating plans, implementing them, and promoting their adoption.
• Focus on team building and personnel training for enhanced abilities.
• Lead and coach engineering and maintenance personnel.
