Oversee and direct Mechanics, oversee personnel to ensure adherence to Westinghouse requirements, plans, specifications, industrial and safety standards. Manage resource demand process and setting day-to-day objectives to ensure the appropriate resources are utilized to support project and facility needs

Your Day to Day:

Reinforce that our overriding priority is to protect our employees, the public, and the environment. Ensure personnel understand and comply with our core Nuclear Safety Culture principles, including appropriately prioritizing industrial, criticality, chemical, radiological, and environmental safety Set day-to-day operational objectives for the Mechanic Team.  Ensure applicable policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports Coordinate scheduling of projects, scheduling of resources, task walkdowns with Work Management Develop and maintain appropriate reports and metrics to validate safety, craft utilization, task delivery and cost performance Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and the facility Familiar with installing, maintaining, and repairing machines and equipment

What you need to be successful in this role:

High school diploma or GED required At least eight (8) years in a manufacturing and/or production environment.   Experience as a manager or supervisor of mechanics Experience working as a mechanic
