As a Coding Team Manager, you will be responsible for team management, service delivery of day to day in coding functions to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet contractual SLA’s. Demonstrate leadership and take accountability. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong technical and problem solving skills are essential aspects of this role. • 13 plus years of experienced candidates with relevant experience Role is Medical Coding with a flair for technology • Streamline core day to day operations in coding processes in the US Healthcare domain • Formulate & implement strategic plans for new technologies & tools to support sustained profitable growth of the account • Well versed in executing cost saving measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction and work within the given budget/cost • Responsible for project planning and all process documentation. It also involves being responsible for quality delivery and team performance. • Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer deliverables are met in regard to on-time delivery of service and quality of work • Manage, train & develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction • Should have managed a team / group of 40 - 60 FTEs • Provides assistance in developing coding practice standards and policies and suggests the appropriate trainings to improve the performance of the team. • Managing client interaction and customer engagement, as well as coordinating with client and internal teams. • Periodically review teams' performance and recommend performance improvement plan wherever required • Responsible for work allocation / distribution to the team and monitor the teamwork • Create and maintain daily operational scorecards to track and report KPI’s; assist in volume forecast and capacity planning as required • Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner • Establish a strong relationship with Team Managers by demonstrating the gaps, trends & patterns identified during the data/report compilation • Drive improvement projects on productivity, improve SLA’s and quality • Ensure brand integrity through adherence to standards and procedures in an effort to attain established profitability goals and brand awareness in the marketplace • Communicate with existing and prospective clients • Identify & implement technology solutions that help in improving Coding efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS: • Looking for candidates with AAPC / AHIMA certified Coding certifications. • Strong expertise with ICD, CPT, HCPCS & E/M coding and multi-specialty coding. • Strong ability to interpret medical records of the patients in different specialties. • Ability to communicate, have excellent interpersonal, listening skills and organizational skills. • Strong ability to follow instructions and management directions, and to complete assigned administrative tasks on time and correctly • Act as a liaison between the production team and the clients • Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technical environments as well as strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative abilities. • Solid verbal and written communication skills are required. **Posting Category** Healthcare **Opportunity Type** Regular **Country** India At Huron, we’re redefining what a consulting organization can be.
