We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to manage a Data Service Delivery (DSD) team, a key revenue-generating function within our pension administration business. The DSD team plays a vital role in data analysis, reporting, and cleansing, delivering targeted data improvement initiatives that align with our clients' strategic goals. Tasks can include data projects supporting Pensions Dashboard, buy-in, and buy out exercises, automation programmes, GMP rectification and GMP equalisation.

The Role
Ensure all team members are fully utilised and developed, providing effective leadership, direction and insight for allocated data projects and tasks sharing knowledge and skills Be responsible for the accurate delivery of allocated data projects and tasks to deadline, and within scope and budget with early identification and highlighting of out-of-scope / out of budget work and other constraints communicating details of progress throughout the projects to DSDT leads Attend internal and external meetings for data project scope discussions, data project remit agreement and to present data reports and data analysis findingsContribute to the DSD target chargeable hours, ensuring that all chargeable work is captured correctly on timesheets for billing purposes for self and team Deliver pricing of new data projects and tasks to ensure work is priced at a commercial level and in and appropriate timescale for that task Own and manage the supply and demand of work allocated to the team, underwriting the monthly forecasting view for the team ensuring management information data is kept up to date and accurate in respect of allocated workload for self and team. Ensure all team members follow all required processes fully and correctly and at the correct time
The Requirements
Excellent technical knowledge of UK based occupational pensions with proven ability to manage resources and deliver high quality data projects within a team environment supporting an inclusive working environment and championing diversity within the teamStrong organisational skills utilsed within a pensions data project environment with the experience of the delivery and management of data project tasks and projects.Proven ability to manage, coach and mentor individual team membersProven ability to identify and efficiently resolve challenges, identifying and owning solution to ensure allocated data tasks and projects are delivered within required quality, timescales and agreed remitExcellent time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise team workload with experience of working on several projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and advanced numerical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
