Sycuan Human Resources has an amazing opportunity for a Team Member Experience Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a fun and exciting role engaging Sycuan team members through recognition, rewards, events, and communications. This is an ideal role for a recent grad or strong communicator with a creative mind who has a keen eye for detail. This is a full time, onsite position. Job Purpose: Assists with team member events, recognition programs and communications. Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time) • Works closely with the Team Member Experience Supervisor to assist with Team Member Experience events and communications. • Assists with creating, editing and posting copy and creative flyers that promote and enhance the team member experience and events. • Researches and recommends prizing options for team member events. Communicates with purchasing department on pending or delivered merchandise and keeps records and inventory related to prizing while adhering to fringe prize policies and procedures. • Assists in organizing, and attends onsite and offsite team member events. • Provides guest service by being present during events, registering guests, answering questions, and explaining contest rules. • Assists with special projects as needed including researching information, creating PowerPoint presentations and generating reports in Microsoft Excel. • Maintains and updates records and data in various systems. • Provides back up support to the Team Member Experience Supervisor as needed. • Other duties as assigned Job Specifications: Education and Experience: Essential: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Experience Coordinating events and/or project management • Guest Service experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Experience creating creative flyers or images using Canva or similar programs. • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Desirable: • 1 year experience Coordinating events and/or project management. • Event Planning, Communications or Marketing experience • 1 year experience creating creative flyers or images using Canva or similar programs • Human Resources Experience • Copywriting Experience • Bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog Skills and Knowledge: Essential: • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines • Ability to interact effectively with guests, external agencies, vendors, and Team Members • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments proactively • Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language • Detail oriented, flexible, and practical • Ability to perform data entry assignments • Ability to complete forms, documents and written reports • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure • Strong organizational and planning skills • Ability to work in a smoking environment • Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions • Ability to follow established policies, procedures and protocols • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours • Ability to accept feedback and improve where needed • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel • Ability to create engaging presentations. • Grasp concepts and communicate them broadly in an accessible manner Supervisory/Managerial Accountability: Direct: None Indirect: None If you enjoy being part of a community dedicated to creating a memorable guest experience, we invite you to explore career opportunities with Sycuan and join our winning team!
