Team Member Services Representative

PURPOSE 

Provide service to organization team members in the administration of various employee benefit plans such as life and disability, health, dental, vision, ancillary voluntary benefits, team member wellness initiatives, and other HR related duties as assigned.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responds to incoming calls and e-mails from managers, team members and COBRA participants to the dedicated benefits department phone and e-mail inbox on plan provisions, benefit enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the Dayforce system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. Updating of mid-year employee benefits changes as allowed under Section 125 Administration and implementation of Qualified Medical Child Support Orders. Assists with Leave of Absence and 401(k) dupport. Interacts with various vendors for problem resolution. Assist with annual benefits Open Enrollment. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-2 years of general human resources experience with experience/knowledge of benefits programs Knowledge of Human Resource systems (Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred).  Requires knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to speak and write effectively.  Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer and Software Skills                                                 May require working overtime to meet deadlines throughout the year.
