Team Operator - Molding

**Position Summary**
The **Molding Team Operator** is responsible for setting up molds, adjusting processes, and operating advanced molding machines to produce high-quality assemblies and insert-molded tubing. This role involves following specific procedures, making process adjustments, and ensuring detailed recordkeeping across multiple machines.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Take process parameter readings and perform testing per established documentation.
+ Conduct audits to identify and establish cutoff points for nonconforming products.
+ Complete nonconformance and hold documentation as required.
+ Pull inspection samples as molded components are completed and ensure compliance with quality standards.
+ Generate trace, container labels, and pallet sheets, and scan bar-coded labels into the system.
+ Ensure all changeover paperwork is accurately completed.
+ Perform initial and alternate product dispositions, and move items to the appropriate staging area.
+ Assist in the on-the-job training (OJT) of new Operators.
+ Maintain 5S standards in the assigned work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
+ Model company values and support strategic initiatives to drive business goals.
+ Inspect various parts against specifications and communicate issues with the responsible Technician.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company procedures, including occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.
+ Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Work Environment**
+ The role involves working with manufacturing equipment or being in close proximity to machinery. Employees may be exposed to biohazards and/or chemicals.
+ The work environment may include clean room areas with specific gowning requirements as well as production areas that can be open, noisy, and contain moving equipment.
+ Physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, and the use of both hands, wrists, and upper body.
+ Requires focused visual attention to inspect products and components for quality.
+ Travel is minimal (less than 5% of the time).
**Qualifications**
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to multitask effectively throughout the shift.
+ Proficient in the use of computers and related software.
+ Adequate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
+ Sound judgment in product disposition and decision-making.
**Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience**
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Educational requirements may be met through formal education or equivalent work experience.
+ Less than 1 year of experience; manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
**Pay Details:** $21.50 per hour
