We are recruiting for a Team Leader for our Site in Venlo. Start the New Year in an exciting organisation who are growing!

Fluency in English, and Polish would be advantageous   Monday to Friday between 07.00hrs - 16.00hrs, however flexiblity is required to cover when required (site runs 2 shift pattern 07.00hrs - 16.00hrs and 16.00hrs - 01.00hrs) Previous experience of working as a Team Leader or Supervisor within Logistics or a similar environment i.e. production, distribution etc

  
What you do on a typical day

As a Team Leader you manage the team performance continually, developing associates by providing training and coaching. Responsible to meet all operational KPI’s. Assigns duties and monitors work completion for accuracy.  Maintains a safe work environment and fosters a positive team dynamic, resolving employee relations issues and administering corrective action as required. Lead start-up activities with cross functional teams.  Responsible to make recommendations regarding hiring, terminating, performance evaluations, and promotions. Daily interaction with internal and external customer on operational level. Personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, plan and organize staff workload. Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department. Train associates so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained. Consciously dealing with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption 

 

What you need to succeed at GXO  

You will have previously worked in a Team Leader or Supervisor role  Experienced of utilising Warehouse Management systems Previous experience within Logistics or similar environment, Production, Distribution etc Fluent in English, Polish would be advantageous
