We’re looking to build our production team and are seeking operating technicians to ensure uninterrupted operation of an advanced glass container manufacturing line. They will be responsible for:
Safety within 24/7 glass manufacturing operationsLead teams and managing shiftsProvide operational process improvements to drive performance and improve safety operationsProvide hands-on support to other teammates with maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical repairs, programming, motor changes, and other specialized tasksLeader of all job changes including all job change coordination, changing out mould equipment, cleaning, & basic repair and machine conversionResponsible for abatement system fault-finding, finer gauge adjustments, and forming electronics maintenance, diagnostics, and change outs and machine blower maintenanceRepair and maintenance of lehr and packaging equipment, including palletizer, carton erector, case packer, and stretch wrapperQualifications
About You:
Bachelor Degree preferred, GED required 5+ years’ experience with optical inspection and container handling devices, the glass industry utilizes Tiama, Emhart, Heye, and O-I technologies requiring specific skills related to continuous process defect detection and data analysisEvidence or demonstration of similar skill sets including intricate machinery such as CNC, PLC, and rebuilding automotive drive chains highly consideredMaintenance, Controls, Utilities system experienceDiagnostics, fault-finding and troubleshooting experienceExperience leading teams and managing shiftsHigh-temperature industrial processes and controls a plusSalary Range:
Pay range for the Tech 5 position is $47.27 per hour, plus overtime and performance-based incentives.Schedule:
We will be operating a 12-hour rotating day/night shift that enables seven consecutive days off each month!
