SAP-Data Architect- Senior Manager

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP Data Architect Expert, Senior Manager responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing an organization's SAP data architecture. This role involves developing data models, ensuring data quality, and aligning SAP data management with business objectives. 

 

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Design and implement SAP data architecture that supports the organization's business requirements and IT strategy. Develop and maintain data models for SAP databases and applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability needs. Define and enforce data governance policies, including data standards, data quality, and data security protocols. Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to integrate SAP modules and ensure data consistency across the landscape. Lead data migration projects, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities. Provide expertise in SAP HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP data management technologies. Monitor and optimize the performance of the SAP data environment. Develop and maintain documentation for SAP data architectures, models, and procedures. Conduct regular data audits and implement corrective measures to ensure data integrity. Train and mentor team members on data architecture best practices and SAP data management tools. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in SAP data technologies and data architecture methodologies.
 

Experience:  

Should have 12-14+ Yrs of Experience in SAP Governance and Strategy. Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role. In-depth knowledge of SAP Strategy and Governance and related areas.  Proven track record of managing SAP projects and teams. Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points. Successfully completed at least five end-to-end implementations.  Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
 

Competencies / Skills:

Knowledge of database technologies used with SAP, such as SAP HANA, SAP ASE, and other relational database management systems (RDBMS). Skills in integrating data from various sources into SAP systems, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data replication, and data provisioning. Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members. Experience with data migration strategies and tools, such as SAP Data Migration Cockpit or SAP Advanced Data Migration by Syniti. Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents. Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.

 

Education: 

Graduate from a reputed educational institution. Any SAP Data related Certifications is preferred (SAP Certified Application Associate - Modeling and Data Acquisition with SAP BW powered by SAP HANA or SAP Certified Application Associate - Data Integration with SAP Data Services etc. Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international)
