Salary Details: $26.50 / hr 

Job Status: Full-time, Year-round Union

Shift/Schedule Requirements: Must be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Animation Technicians support the repair & maintenance of the special effects systems throughout the park. Candidates are expected to work within a multitude of disciplines including, prop fabrication, theatrical lighting, painting, welding, electronics, fiberglass, etc.

Complete daily inspections of park/ride special effects systems in a detailed and efficient manner. Complete necessary off-season maintenance. Answer calls throughout the day to repair and maintain the park/ride special effects systems.
Qualifications:High school graduate or GED.2-3 Years experience in themed entertainment special effects/animation or equivalent.Ability to lift 50lbs.Must have valid driver’s license. Must join Laborers Union. Experience with animatronics and animatronic prop controllers preferred.Able to work at heights including catwalks, aerial lifts, crane baskets, scaffolding, and structure climb.Willing to work various shifts and days with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
