We are actively expanding Lilly's global parenteral (injectable) product manufacturing network and support, for this mission we are preparing for the start-up of one of our new state of the art manufacturing site located in Pleasant Prairie in Wisconsin. This facility will utilize the latest technology to increase the company's manufacturing capacity in parenteral (injectable) medications. The Tech@Lilly Sr. Director will serve as the leader for the IT function in the LKC site. This role will have a dual reporting line to both the Tech@Lilly IT Associate VP and the LKC Site Head.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
IT Agenda
Ensure site operational readiness from IT perspective. This includes Enterprise Resource Planning, Warehouse management & logistics coordination, Manufacturing Execution System, Laboratory Management, Data Integration and Analytics, Data Integrity, etc.Member of the Site Leadership Team and provide IT site functional leadership
Develop and implement site IT strategic and business planBenchmark on innovative solutions (external and internal to Lilly)Dynamically adapt road map to site evolution/strategic directions, and new trends/issuesPartner cross functionally locally and globally to establish and implement site IT roadmapResponsible for maintaining a safe work environmentPeople
Ensure staffing to meet the site and functional agendaLead, coach, and develop members of the teamEstablish a strong site culture based in Lilly values, expectations, and operational excellence standardsSupport diversity, equity and inclusion in recruiting and development of team membersLead recognition, pay and promotion decisionsLead talent assessment and succession planning activitiesSupport site recruiting building IT capabilityCompliance

10+ years IT leadership experience working in regulated science-based industryRegulatory compliance knowledge and experience (cGMP)Effective people and team leadership skillsAbility to manage and contribute to multiple concurrent activities and adapt to changes in prioritiesAbility to cross functionally collaborateExcellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated creativity, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problemsAdditional Preferences:
