We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Project Manager to drive a range of sophisticated IT projects, from inception through execution, within the Medical Communications department of the Clinical Research Group. As a key member of our Project Management Office, you will have the opportunity to drive technology enablement and innovation as we move towards the future. You will be encouraging and cultivating positive relationships and establishing trust with clients and internal business partners. Collaborating closely with global cross-functional teams, your role will involve delivering effective solutions that drive desired business outcomes. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and handle a portfolio of IT and business transformation projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, task assignments, and dependencies.Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project achievements are reached.Cultivate strong relationships with internal business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to understand their needs and provide consultative guidance on technology solutions.Explore methods to improve processes and implement effective project management techniques.Coordinate organizational change activities, including team member engagement, training, and communication, to ensure smooth project implementation and adoption.Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements, incorporating them into project planning and execution.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Validated experience in effectively leading and handling sophisticated IT and/or organizational change initiativesExperience using Planview or other Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools preferred.Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the Medical & Clinical space.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expertise in leading project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources successfully.Critical thinker and proactive problem-solving approach and ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent social skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate optimally at all levels.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence collaboration across multiple and diverse groups.Effective leadership abilities to empower and encourage project teams, promoting a collaborative and achievement-focused work environment.Ability to delegate, optimally prioritize own and project team members workload.Ability to optimally use applications such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.Our Company:
