**About the Role**
Uber is growing its **Tech Center in Brazil**, and we’re looking for a **Tech Recruiter** to help us attract and hire top-tier talent in **Software Engineering, Product, Data Science, and UX**. This role will be pivotal in scaling our technical teams, working closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and the broader Talent Acquisition team to bring the best professionals into our organization.
As a **Tech Recruiter**, you’ll drive the end-to-end recruitment process, using data-driven insights and innovative sourcing strategies to engage highly skilled professionals in the industry. You will also play a key role in enhancing Uber’s employer brand within the tech ecosystem in Brazil.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
- Own and drive the **end-to-end** recruitment process for technical roles, including **Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX professionals**.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deeply understand talent needs and define effective hiring strategies.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high-caliber candidates, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent communities, and other sourcing tools.
- Build and maintain a **strong talent pipeline**, engaging passive candidates through targeted outreach.
- Manage candidate experience, ensuring a seamless and engaging recruitment process.
- Leverage **recruitment analytics and data** to track hiring metrics, optimize processes, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Represent Uber at tech events, university programs, and employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in Brazil’s tech ecosystem.
**Basic Qualifications**
- **3+ years of experience** in full-cycle technical recruiting, preferably in **fast-paced** tech companies, startups, or high-growth organizations.
- Experience recruiting **Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and UX Designers**.
- Strong sourcing skills, including **Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and talent mapping**.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and roles in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in **English and Portuguese**.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring efficiency.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience hiring for **global or large-scale tech teams**.
- Knowledge of **technical concepts and programming languages** (you do not need to code, but understanding engineering and data-related topics is a plus).
- Experience with **ATS systems (e.g., iCIMS, Greenhouse, Lever)** and recruitment CRM tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers on market trends and hiring best practices.
- Passion for employer branding and building a strong presence within the tech community.
