The Technology Specialist 3 independently develops and implements configurations, automation tools, and scripts for IT and OT systems. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of system components across multiple interconnected systems, ensuring proper functionality, performance, and security. The Technology Specialist 3 provides technical leadership and supervises others as required. Responsibilities + Independently develops, improves, and implements automation tools, configurations, and scripts for IT and OT systems. + Leads planning and execution of system implementation, maintenance, and reconfiguration efforts. + Troubleshoots and resolves moderately complex functional, performance, and security issues. + Manages own tasks based on the area of responsibilities and supervises others as needed. + Develops and executes testing and commissioning procedures, including subsystem and system-level testing. + Creates detailed system and subsystem-level configuration specifications and procedures. + Participates in technical demonstrations and contributes to technical proposal writing. + Supports risk management activities to mitigate potential impacts on system performance and security. + Willing to travel to customer sites for startups Qualifications + Requires ten (10)+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems with a high school diploma or GED + Requires substantial travel to project sites as required by customer and program manager to meet project deliverable's + Proficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools **Desired Qualifications:** Allen Bradley PLC, Ignition, Distech, Niagara, Siemens Desigo **Abilities:** + Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time. + Sitting for extended periods of time. + Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction. + Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard. + Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. + Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. + Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. + Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. + Identify and understand the speech of another person.
