Overview As a Building Management System (BMS) Application Specialist, you will be a key member in the virtualization and maintenance of enterprise BMS application systems. Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to: + · Configure primary and secondary virtual servers. + · Work with local service providers to migrate BMS controllers from local administration to the enterprise virtual environment. + · Configure network and user access. + · Configure and test alert distribution. + · Commission the virtualized system and perform turnover to the operations team. + · Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning. + · Troubleshoot system alerts and initiate service tickets. + · Develop playbooks to document daily functions and troubleshooting process. Preferred Experience: + · Experience programming and managing a BMS system is not required but is a major plus. + · System experience operating any of the following BMS applications is a plus: + o Tridium Niagara + o Siemens Desigo CC + o Schneider EcoStruxture + o Alterton Compass + o Sauter Vision Center + · BMS application management experience with of the follow technologies is a plus: + o Lighting Controls + o Leakage Detection + o Temperature Sensor + o Compressed Air Pumps + o Energy Power Meter + o Indoor/ Outdoor Air Quality + o Battery System Monitor + o Building Shades + o Solar Power Monitoring + o SCADA + o HVAC Communication Skills: + · Strong oral, technical writing, and presentation skills + · Ability to build productive relationships with team members, clients and other network/system stakeholders. + Behavioral Skills: + · Must be able to balance high quality standards with schedule pressures and a demanding environment. + · Must be a resourceful self-starter, flexible, proactive, solution-oriented and customer-oriented. + Work Schedule: + · Required time in the office 3 days/week.
