BECOME A TECH WASH SUPERVISOR!

 

Our Tech Wash Supervisor position involves overseeing a team responsible for the in-depth cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards of cleanliness and safety. The Supervisor trains new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and proper use of equipment, develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize downtime, and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities.

 

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A TECH WASH SUPERVISOR

Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment  Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues  Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocks  Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtime  Liaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirements  Handle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policies  Provide feedback and performance evaluations for team members  Respond to emergency cleaning situations as required  Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution  Cleaning side by side with team to ensure aircraft cleaning tasks are completed  Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules  Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning team  Pre-checks are performed on all equipment/vehicles and loading of required chemicals for designated washes during that shift Complete a FOD walk to verify that the work area is clean of equipment/chemicals and debris free Inspect and evaluate the quality of work and practice safe work methods Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE): raingear, rubber boots, safety glasses, face shield, rubber gloves, Tyvek suit, and respirator Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards  May be assigned other duties as required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older Eligible to work in the United States 2 years of supervisory experience  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents  Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices  Effectively communicate both in-person and through electronic means Pass a background check and drug screen  Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable) Ability to work any day/shift, including holidays, within a 24/7 operation

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:  

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable  Must be able to push, pull Must be able to crawl, at times in confined tight spaces  Must be able to bend, stretch, squat  Must be able to work at elevated heights Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals Exposure to outdoor elements Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
