Mission

Strengthen relationships with customers by aligning with the Global or Key Account Manager, Strategic Orientations, and the Business Model. Focus on OEM R&D and understand their engineering policies. Contribute to sales targets and maximize value from our product/service offerings. Ensure timely homologation for projects portfolios.

Key expected achievements Build strong customer relationships in line with strategic orientations and business modelsMaintain network inside OEM technical departments and beyond (Program Management, Product Planning, decision makers within the OEM)Understand OEM technical philosophy and OEM needs to pursue the OEM business model, translates & communicates to AOE and R&D teamsCollaborate within the CBT with Global Account Manager – Technical team, Key Account Manager – Technical team of other zones, and OE LeaderPropose appropriate AOE actions to bring & sell value to the OEMsPromote Michelin's offerings within the technical communityWork closely with IDD to target and manage the innovation deploymentsCapture and communicate customer requirements internallyManage Customer visits, training and Tech days

Coordinate global development activities for OEMsInfluence the OEM tire specifications to maximize the success of our offerIdentify opportunities to demonstrate technical leadershipPromote key tire performances for upcoming platforms

Value creation through winning RFQs and identifying business opportunitiesSupport business acquisition workflows for RFQs and ensures that technical aspects are considered during Scenario ConstructionTechnical analysis of OEM tire specification for RFQsUnderstand competitor positioning to target high-value opportunitiesEnsure comprehension of OEM expectations by DORDCoordinate the global construction of appropriate Feasibility Studies for the RFQsSupport macro feasibility processConduct Win/Loss Analyses at the end of the Business Acquisition processIdentify opportunities to sell tires with low or no RDI investment based on received OEM demandExplore opportunities to sell connected and service offers

Ensure timely homologation (HT) and start of serial production (LIVM) for OEMsManage Tire Developments portfolios and ensure corrective actionsEscalate Tire Developments at risk through Program Management meetingsActively searches for development process with OEMInitiate and promote simulation activities

Leading Pre-Sales activities for the platforms in the portfolioInitiate Pre-Sales for key vehicles and leads the processActively sell Michelin solutions for future platforms (Avance de phase, Co-Development, demonstrator)Address technical challenges and performance gaps for future platforms

RequirementsMinimum 3-7 years of experience in the automotive industry with a technical backgroundAwareness of Project ManagementAbility to communicate in an international environment, including direct contact with key clientsFluent in English

LocationPosition based in Seoul.International geographical mobility is a plus for mid-long-term career evolution within Michelin Group.
