Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. We operate out of sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, which are all GMP licensed by local regulators and are accredited to ISO 17025. Job DescriptionOperating in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, this modern contract testing laboratory is seeking a full time Technical Administrative Assistant with a strong organizing skills and ability to learn and use software platforms quickly for an immediate start.
Accredited with the TGA and APVMA, the high-tech facilities encompass a broad range of analytical equipment primarily used in the Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Bioanalytical sectors.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a positive attitude, willingness to learn on the job in a fast-paced, friendly environment with a dedicated team of like-minded professionals. Advancement opportunities exist for the right candidate.
Candidates will be expected to possess the ability to answer incoming calls, maintain the stationary area, meticulously scan and archive scientific documents, prepare purchase orders, coordinate the delivery and receipt of goods and services, and assist with sample reception and the calibration of small laboratory equipment as required.
Previous demonstratable experience in in delivering excellence in customer service, quality & maintain neat and efficient office systems is essential for success in this role. Possessing some hands on experience in small equipment calibrations will be advantageous.
The position relies heavily on developed expertise in office management, great communication, teamwork and some basic equipment calibrations with a key focus on attention to detail. Experience in Coupa ordering systems advanced MS Office skills are also advantages.
QualificationsAt a minimum, a diploma in science or laboratory technology or a related discipline is essential, as well as excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
