We have an opening for a Technical Administrator to join the Services DBU in the Operational Support team. You will be supporting a diverse team at all levels and will interact with many other departments across the business. This role will offer a variety of technical, administrative, and organisational tasks within the team.

What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the Operational Support Engineers and their projects with technical and administrative task, with on-the-job training provided.
Data entry tasks related to the Operational Support of all in-service Submarines.Support in the delivery of technical queries from internal and external customers.Involvement with the reporting of monthly KPIs.Support the company drive for continuous improvement.Recognise where working differently could benefit existing processes.Maintaining database standards and policies.Who we are looking for:

Essential skills:
Experience of MS Office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Good written and verbal communication skills at all levels.Good numeracy skills.Capable organisational skills.Attention to detail.Familiarity working to deadlines and KPIs.GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).Desirable skills:
Experience of inputting and manipulating data in bespoke database systems (such as IBM Maximo and Cognos), or Microsoft Office based applications (e.g. Excel and Access, and Power BI), however, training can be provided.Experience within an engineering industry.We are an equal opportunities employer. To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
