Focus:  The Technical Advisor is responsible for the safe operation of the A-1800 Hydro Chlorination plant, Non-Biological Treatment Plant, and HCL Assets as an area subject matter resource and will frequently assist the Thermal Chlorination Technical Advisor. The CMP Technical Advisor utilizes process knowledge, technical expertise, and operations experience to assist, teach, and coach plant personnel, and other related roles, in correcting process or equipment issues and improving process performance and reliability.


Technical Advisor Essential Job Functions:

Act as technical / process subject matter resource in the qualified area to ensure effective utilization of all available methods to train and qualify the Operating the Plant team members (i.e. curriculums, plant training modules, troubleshooting guides, one-on-one troubleshooting activities, etc.) Enhance front line skills and knowledge of plant personnel and other related roles through coaching on plant process, equipment, engineering, troubleshooting, reliability principles, Life Critical Standards, etc. including actively coaching and teaching Operating the Plant role during troubleshooting Actively involved in the development, creation, and maintenance of operating discipline procedures and reviews to identify areas of improvement and implement operating discipline changes Active participant in department EH&S program including spending time in field with other team members coaching and providing feedback regarding implementation of EHS programs and policies Assist teams and support functions on issues related to start up/shutdown timing and planning, projects, operations, and maintenance work

Technical Advisor Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; Prior Olin experience in Chlorinated Methanes preferred DCS Control Board experience required Basic experience using Microsoft applications, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred Must possess a valid US Driver's License
