Job Duties: Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.32481)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a technical analyst-related occupation. Position requires:

Using and administrating Oracle Database server; Implementing high availability of Oracle Databases through Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Guard; Protecting and duplicating Oracle databases with Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA), including troubleshooting; Unix, Linux or Windows; Performance tuning of Oracle Databases at the indexing and SQL query level; Applying Oracle patches on Database and Grid homes (including rolling patching on RAC); and Installing and configuring Oracle Database (including RAC).
