Job Duties: Deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Offer strategic technical support to assure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Create/utilize automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. Serve as an expert member of the technical problem solving/problem avoidance team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues. May telecommute. (385.19388)

 

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Analyst-Support-related occupation. Position requires:

Designing and developing J2EE applications; Administration and configuration of application servers, including Weblogic, JBoss, and Websphere; Installing, configuring, patching, upgrading and administering Oracle WebLogic Server; Troubleshooting and resolving simple to highly complex technical issues related to Oracle WebLogic Applications Servers on topics including Java Security, JVM, Performance Tuning, JMS, and Clustering; J2EE Server Technologies Java, JSP, Servlets, and EJB; Server Side J2EE technologies, JMS, Java Security, Web Services, JVM, Cluster Technologies, Web Services, and XML; Troubleshooting and resolving simple to highly complex technical issues related to J2EE technologies including Java, EJB, and JMS; Linux and Unix operating systems, including OS commands, file editing tools, debugging strategies, permissions settings, and troubleshooting; Configuration and use of networking technology to work with application development and application servers; Configuring and troubleshooting database connections with the Application Server container.
