Technical Analyst / Data Engineer

We are looking for a Technical Analyst / Data Engineer to join our IT product team. This is a permanent, hybrid and full-time role.

Our IT product team is dedicated to supporting Human Resources colleagues by leveraging a combination of general purpose and HR-specific tools. We utilize powerful data visualization and business intelligence platforms like Power BI and AWS to manage and analyze data efficiently.  Additionally, we employ specialized HR analytics tools such as Workday Prism and Visier to provide deep insights into workforce trends, performance metrics, and employee engagement.  Our team is committed to delivering actionable insights that help our Human Resources partners make informed decisions and drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract data from various sources and populate analytics systemsWork closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goalsBuild and maintain data flows that support ingestion, transformation, and publishing across various data sources, both internal and externalUse data orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools to build resilient pipelinesAutomate data flows and pipeline monitoring to ensure scalability, performance, and resilience of the platformMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the data integration platform, ensuring uptime and reliabilityMaintain thorough documentation for integration processes, configurations, and code to ensure easy onboarding for new team members and future scalabilityEstablish, modify, and maintain data structures and associated components.Create and deliver reports and dashboards in accordance with stakeholder needs and conforming to agreed standardsParticipate in project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both functional and product goals

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any Technology streamMin. 2 years of experience in developing data pipelines and data infrastructureDemonstrated expertise in delivering large-scale information management technology solutions encompassing data integration and self-service analytics enablementExperience in software/data engineering practices (including versioning, release management, deployment of datasets, agile & related software tools)Strong working knowledge of at least one large-scale data processing technology (e.g., high-performance computing, distributed computing), databases, or cloud servicesStrong working knowledge of at least one reporting/insight visualization technologyGood interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Proven record of delivering high-quality resultsProduct and customer-centric approachInnovative thinking, experimental mindset

Preferred

Human Resources process and data experienceWorking knowledge of HR-specific tools, such as Workday Prism or Visier
