Technical Analyst II
Our Client, an Energy Services company, is looking for a Technical Analyst II for their Jackson, MI location. Responsibilities: + The technical analyst (standards drafter) will be responsible for drafting new documents from historical standard work content in support of the Manual Optimization Project (MOP) to create the One Gas Manual. + MOP is a transformational project with a stated delivery of early 2026. + The business groups that own the current standards have stated that they cannot support the lift needed to complete this project. + With this in mind, the Gas Standards group needs to bring on several contractors to keep this project moving and completed on time. Without these resources, the MOP timeline is at risk and likely would be delayed by at least an additional 6-12 months. This added timeline is not ideal as it would bleed over into construction season when users are further tied up and not as receptive to the needed changes. It is very important to stay on schedule with MOP so that the new One Gas Manual can be used when it is needed. + Receive assignment to draft new document > Access database of historical content "chunks" > Reorganize those chunks and others identified by project team into new file > flag/note the use of a chunk to track its rightful reauthoring utilization and location it was used in > Route document for review and approvals Requirements: + Technical analysts must be comfortable working in unstructured environments and critical thinking skills necessary to assist in the re-drafting of Standard Work documentation. + This required the ability to analyze existing content that has been chunked and categorized, and reassembly into newly planned documents (with the support of the Standards Engineering on staff). + Associates degree in field showing proficiency in project delivery and following expectations. + Documentation/Technical Writing Why Should You Apply? + Health Benefits + Referral Program + Excellent growth and advancement opportunities As an equal opportunity employer, ICONMA provides an employment environment that supports and encourages the abilities of all persons without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or express, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability status, political affiliation, genetics, marital status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
