You Are:

UST is searching for a strong Technical Analyst / Management Consultant with business requirement gathering, data analysis, SQL and documentation skills. 

 

The opportunity:

·       Elicit, analyze and document clear concise, detailed business requirements by actively participating in the requirement gathering sessions with users

·       Leverage User stories, wire frames, prototypes, sample reports to drive the requirement clarifications and signoffs

·       Help the IT development teams to understand the requirements and validate/clarify questions if any with the users

·       Work closely with Quality Assurance team for project testing strategy and plans

·       Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

·       Ensure traceability of business requirements to technical requirements

·       Ensure technical requirements and design meet and support the business needs

·       Plan, coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution delivered meets business needs

·       Help analyze the new project scope and feed into SOW/Change Requests

·       Synthesize project scope and turn them into user stories

·       Analyze the data and draw inferences that can get translated into business rules

·       Document the requirements, business rules/mapping in Jira, Confluence etc.

·       Lead the team and execute the project in Product Owner capacity.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Requires Bachelors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Analytics related field and at least 6 years’ related experience Analytics Technical Development and Business Analysis

·       5+ years of IT experience with 3+ years of Requirement gathering and contributing the UAT phase with users

·       5+ years of SQL experience in writing queries to understand the data and make inferences

·       Experience working with cloud database technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle)

·       3+ years of BI Experience (Tableau, Looker, Qlik)

·       Sound understanding of Cloud Technologies as they relate to Analytics (GCP, AWS, Azure)

·       5+ years of SFDC project frameworks as it relates to Analytics delivery (Scrum, Agile)

·       Sound understanding of ETL/ELT applications (IICS, Talend, Matillion, Stitch)

·       5+ years managing and communicating with development teams onshore/offshore

·       Resource will help to gather requirements, form the design and lead in the development and testing as required to build out the solution

·       Resource will work with the clients project management structure as needed to ensure the project is lead in the proper manner.

·       Resource will lead development efforts as required to fully understand the requirements, design the system, lead the offshore development team with development and testing activities as needed.

·       Strong consulting and communication skills working with people of various experiences and background as well as client and other vendor type resources.

·       Strong client and team relationship management to understand personal perspectives and become a trusted advisor to the client

·       Strong team relationship management to understand direction and assist in resolving technical issues

·       Ability to successfully manage onshore and offshore technical teams to successfully implement the required solution

·       Experience managing client and vendor experiences to execution with a track record towards success

·       Experience in requirement gathering and analysis using tools like JIRA and/or Rally. 

·       Develop and validate hypothesis

·       Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

·       Experience in handling Sr Business Stakeholder Management meetings and business communications

·       Team player with positive attitude

·       Should have the ability to quickly adopt to the client and team needs
