The Technical Architect will lead and manage all technical activities for this program. This role requires extensive knowledge of various SAP functional modules and the ability to translate complex functional requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions across multiple SAP technologies, including SAP Cloud Platform / BTP, WRICEF, ABAP, Fiori / UI5, custom CDS, AMDP, BADIs, BAPIs, SAP HANA modelling, and more. The Technical Architect will also oversee the SAP architectural design and ensure technical quality across the program.

Key Responsibilities – not limited to the below: Solution Design and Planning: Maintain a holistic view of the SAP solution to ensure the overall design is technically sound and aligned with business objectives. Manage and control technical-related activities, ensuring all S/4HANA requirements are met, including third-party solution changes. Work closely with the Functional Solution Specialists, SI partner technical architects, developers, and SAP support teams to align technical strategies. Technical Leadership and Problem Solving: Act as the primary problem-solver, tackling complex customer requirements across multiple functions. Provide technical expertise and lead the development of architectural designs for SAP projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Project Management and Coordination: Evaluate efforts and cost estimates for SAP technical deliverables, including migrations, upgrades, training, and implementations. Coordinate with architects, internal and external teams, and solution specialists to drive forward customization requirements. Oversee the review and approval of technical deliverables from SI partners and third parties. Technical Development and Integration: Develop and implement SAP technical solutions, including high-level technical designs, system landscapes, and Bills of Materials (BOM). Ensure effective integration between SAP solutions and legacy systems, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. Lead the development, upgrade, and maintenance of custom components and WRICEF within ABAP, Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, and other technologies. Quality Assurance and Documentation: Review and ensure quality of SAP technical solutions, providing support for code reviews and the creation of project documentation, including architecture maps, test scripts, and more. Lead SAP Basis administration and security roles within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment, overseeing environment integration. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing: Identify areas for process improvement and automation, recommending better alternatives where applicable. Maintain advanced technical certifications and stay up-to-date with industry developments by attending workshops, seminars, and reviewing technical publications. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: Education: University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferably). Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP architecture, S/4HANA implementations, and migrations. Deep expertise in SAP Cloud technologies, ABAP, Fiori, AMDP, BAPIs, and SAP HANA modelling. Strong knowledge of SAP functional modules (preferably FICO, MM, PS, PM, QM, EWM) and integration technologies (IDOC, ODATA, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, etc.). Proven experience in managing SAP projects in both on-site and offshore models. Technical Skills: Expertise in WRICEF, ABAP Core Data Services, custom CDS, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Familiarity with data migration tools and cloud deployment methodologies. Experience with SAP Solman / ALM, and managing integration between SAP solutions and legacy systems. Communication & Leadership Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Strong leadership abilities to manage technical teams and projects, ensuring timely delivery and scope adherence.
