Job Summary:

Technical Architect with a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripts, Oracle Forms, and Pro*C.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions, as well as creating comprehensive design documents to ensure robust system architecture and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of technical solutions in alignment with business requirements.
Develop and maintain high-level and detailed design documents, ensuring clear documentation of system functionality and workflows.
Create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Pro*C, and UNIX/Shell Scripts.

Development and Integration:

Lead hands-on development efforts across Oracle PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, and other related technologies.
Ensure smooth integration of system components with existing infrastructure and third-party systems.
Oversee code reviews, ensuring compliance with coding standards, and implement best practices.

Collaboration and Leadership:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, business analysts, and product managers,
to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle technologies within the organization.

Problem Solving and Optimization:

Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues, providing resolutions that optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
Continuously review and enhance system architecture and coding standards to improve maintainability and performance.
Documentation:

Produce detailed design documentation, technical specifications, and operational manuals to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.

Ensure all project documentation is up to date and accurate, providing a solid foundation for current and future development efforts.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripts, Oracle Forms, and Pro*C.
Previous experience in architecting and designing complex systems and solutions.
Experience with creating detailed design documents for technical projects.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices for system integration and architecture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Oracle databases and applications.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and deployments is a plus
