General DescriptionThe main function will be to research, analyze and work daily checks, as delivered by the insurance group. Verification and processing of physical checks in Caparra (surpluses, advances, final payments, among others.) Process refunds, keep track of payments received from payments to principal of the different branches, among other tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Verifies and analyzes invoices for advance checks, final payments, leftovers, substitution and payments to the workshop that are requested for issuance ensuring impact the corresponding accounting accounts and ensure that the amounts and information on the check are correct. Receive checks from the claims staff from the different insurance companies. Process all checks received from claims. Process refunds from 1 to 15 business days. Education + 60 Bachelor's Degree Credits Approved in Business AdministrationExperienceAt least two years of administrative work experience.
Other Qualifications Basic knowledge of accounting and experience in handling monetary transactions. Ability to think critically and analytically. Computer oriented including knowledge on Microsoft Office applications with special domain in Microsoft Excel. Oral and written communication in both English and Spanish. Ability to work under pressure and with multiple tasks at the same time. Capacity to work in teams and collaborate with peers to meet common goals. Must be detail oriented and organized.
