MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform maintenance on building and equipment,and ensure that assets are upheld to their original state

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Perform requested technical jobs within the Hospital Identify and control risk in the technical environment within the Hospital Coordinate and monitor work is done by on-site contractors within the Hospital Perform office administration duties within the Technical Department Build and maintain stakeholder relations and client service within Technical Department REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

Grade 10/ equivalent technical vocational qualification

DESIRED EDUCATION: 

Grade 12
Code B driver’s licence
Basic Technical Assistant Training
(Mediclinic) or any other related technical training

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 

2 years’ experience in general building maintenance

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 

1-year experience in general building maintenance

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Occupational Health and Safety Act General experience in building maintenance Drivers licence Experience in working in a team Experience in fault finding/analysis Experience in report writing Microsoft suite (excel, word, outlook)
