Technical Assistant will work closely with Project Team and Clients, Coordinate with frontline vendor, and analyze Remote Compressor Refurbish schedule. Provide equipment’s information to all related parties. Provide technical support information in the areas of quality, cost and performance team and customer.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties Conduct thorough assessments of existing machinery to determine condition and refurbishment needs. Analyze performance data and operational history to identify areas for improvement. Develop detailed refurbishment plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and budget. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications. Utilize CAD software to create technical drawings and schematics for modifications. Oversee all aspects of the refurbishment project, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Identify and procure replacement parts and components as needed for refurbishment. Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance of refurbished machines. Maintain accurate documentation throughout the refurbishment process, including inspection reports, test results, and maintenance records. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Experience in engineering in oil and gas industry or Petro-chemical industry. Proven experience in machinery refurbishment, repair, or maintenance, preferably in a related industry. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and timelines effectively. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience with SAP or MRP systems preferred. Two years’ experience with fabrication and assembly of process equipment. Good presenting and reporting writing in English. Physical Requirements Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Creativity use creativity and ingenuity to find working process or in order to reduce the use of material resources, time, or labor while accomplishing the same goal. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
