Technical Author, AirlinesAs a Senior technical writer, you will write, maintain and publish clear and concise user documentation and online help, across our range of products.
You will be a member of the Learning Design Development and Delivery team and work closely with internal stakeholders around the world.
Analyze content requirements
Who are the end users of the product?Which tasks do users need to carry out?Who is the audience of the content?What is the best way to present the content (user guide, quick card, reference manual, online help)Develop content
Create clear instructions, or conceptual topics, workflows and so onCapture and edit screenshots and related imagesMake sure the content conforms with department standards and quality guidelinesUpdate the documentation as the product evolvesFor some products, Work with R&D to provide input for onscreen text labels (UX writing)Take ownership of your products and projects
Manage projects and prioritize activitiesProactively build understanding and expertise in the product areaBe an effective communicator and build strong relationships with stakeholdersCommon accountability
Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own areas contribute to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.#LI-EMEA
