Technical Business Analyst

Job Summary:

\n

Reporting to the Director of Digital Product, our Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in advancing personalized experience initiatives across our digital platforms. This position is responsible for gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, collaborating with product development teams to design and enhance web and mobile app features, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions. You will also analyze data to uncover insights that drive growth and optimize the online user experience. Success in this role requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise, along with the ability to effectively bridge communication between Digital/IT teams and business stakeholders.

This position is included in our hybrid work policy and is required to work in person from our Woodland Hills, CA office every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nStrategy & Planning:\n\nDocument business and technical details for user personalization and journey initiatives.\nCollaborate with business and IT teams to implement efficient workflows and procedures.\nEvaluate current processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or outdated practices that hinder productivity. \nAnalyze data to gain insights into areas of improvement. \n\nRequirement Gathering and documentation:\n\nEngage with diverse stakeholders to define detailed business and technical requirements.\nWork with the product manager on planning and executing migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms and providing timely resolutions.\nTroubleshoot and investigate technical issues.\nMaintain detailed documentation throughout any process improvements, which can serve as a reference for future initiatives and best practices.\nOversee mapping and transformation processes, ensuring data flows are documented and up to date.\n\nQA & Testing:\n\nCollaborate with the QA team to execute thorough testing, ensuring the migrated content and functionalities in AEM are in optimal working condition.\n\n\n

 Required Qualifications:

\n\n5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to process documentation and flows.\nRobust understanding of architectures, data structures, and migration methodologies.\nStrong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making.\nKnowledge of content management systems (CMS), database management systems (DBMS) & SQL queries.\nFamiliarity with web development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and REST APIs.\n\n
