Here's how a Technical Compliance Manager, reporting to the Director Engineering - Solar, for our Solar Canada office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities Review proposed contracts and contract amendments to identify technical issues, gaps, overlaps, or inconsistencies and communicate findings effectively. Evaluate samples of submitted Engineer of Record drawings and studies for contractual compliance. Analyze samples of purchase orders, shop drawings, and commissioning reports for technical compliance. Conduct site visits across North America and Australia to assess completed work, ensuring adherence to quality guidelines, codes, and contract specifications. Prepare detailed reports from reviews and share findings with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and senior management to implement and promote continuous improvement. Review training materials to ensure they align with best practices and compliance standards. Other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy preferred.  10+ years of progressive field, design, and commissioning experience in the North American solar industry preferred. Strong technical knowledge of solar industry standard operating processes and procedures, including: Electrical System Study software such as ETAP, etc.  Single-Line Diagrams (SLD) Construction design drawings and specifications  Standard commissioning testing and procedures Performance Acceptance Testing methods  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management and scheduling software, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
