A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a technical role to join Computacenter’s dynamic and rapidly expanding Digital Infrastructure group. Successful applicants will be joining a truly global organisation, delivering services into over 70 countries worldwide, with major offices across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia; a recognised leader of the IT services business with a unique vendor-independent, infrastructure-focused perspective on the market. You’ll get to work with some of the most talented and passionate people in the business. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to some of the highest profile projects and customers in the market from our Computacenter office in Bangalore. This role will be primarily focused on delivering a BAU / Project services within a shared service delivery model. With open access to thought leaders and major industry players you’ll get exposure to leading edge technologies which will enable you to advance your skills.
What You’ll Do
Technical Expertise: Perform a range of complex technical work activities in Windows environment to meet business and customer requirements. Incident and change management. 3rd level incident and task support. Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) efforts to resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service delivery.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 11+ years in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large enterprise environments. Advance troubleshooting skills on server OS issues and HW issues. Advance troubleshooting skills on VMware and Hypervisor issues and configuration. Need Windows OS Patching Experience and troubleshooting issues on updated patches. Experience in Active directory, DNS, DHCP and file server. Experience in troubleshooting AWS and Azure Cloud servers. Change Management (e.g. Server Installation on HW/VM/Cloud; Request Backup Integration; Restores Requests of VMs/Files; Server Decomission; ...) Operations handling of the Managed Server Windows (Server (Operation) Management, incl. Incident & Change Management (e.g. OS Installation / Recovery / Maintenance). Scripting: Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation, configuration management, and troubleshooting. Compliance & Patching: Experience with Ivanti management. Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Adaptability & Initiative: Flexible, quick to adapt to changes, and eager to take on additional duties and special projects as required.
